Biography

Sidrah Khan is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Master of Science-Nurse Practitioner certification from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Thomas Edison University and Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biomedical Sciences from the University of California, Sacramento. Sidrah completed her NP training in diverse clinical settings including at a federally qualified community health care in California, where was trained in adult and adolescent medicine and mental health including care for HIV and LGBTQ populations. Her Pediatric training was done at InovaPediatric Clinic and at Valley Health Memorial Hospital Family Medicine. Prior to being a practitioner, she has experience workingas an RN for 2 years at George Washington University Ho spital ICU and Reston outpatient Family Medicine clinic. She has been in healthcare for 8 years working as a medical assistant/scribe in internal medicine, family medicine, and women’s health/gynecology. She also has experience working at a weight management/bariatric surgery center and is passionate about health and fitness and helping patients live healthy lifestyles. Sidrah was inspired to enter the medical field because she wanted to ease the suffering of patients and identify the causes of their symptoms. Her goal is to navigate good health, promote healthy living, and prevent disease by identifying risk factors for longevity and a better quality of life.

Outside of work Ms. Khan enjoys fitness, hiking, traveling, painting/creative projects, exploring new foods, and blogging about her favorite restaurants and travels.
